]]>November has been busy!http://www.charlestonparanormalsociety.com/news/2011/11/15/november-has-been-busy.htmlCharleston Paranormal Society2011-11-16T00:28:37ZWe went through all the evidence from the local bar investigation, and to our dismay most of it had to be thrown out due to contamination. The good news, however, is that we have the ok to go back to said location under different circumstances. We'll be able to get a more thorough experience the next go around being we already know the claims and layout.

Tomorrow night we have an investigation at a residence. This case will be more challenging due to the claims being of a demonic nature. Typically "demonic" hauntings are FAR less common, and debunking and sensitivity will be top priority.

We will be investigating Boone Hall Plantation hopefully in January with our friend Signe Pike. Signe is author of "Faery Tale" and a good friend of CPS. She was lucky enough to get in touch with Boone Hall and set up this investigation. We're looking forward to investigating with her in such an incredible place!

Going through the evidence now, and taking account of ambient sounds. A lot of the claims were successfully debunked, however until the evidence is reviewed fully we won't really know. Also, we are planning a return trip within the next month in quieter conditions. We'll keep you posted!

]]>Magnolia Majestyhttp://www.charlestonparanormalsociety.com/news/2011/10/11/magnolia-majesty.htmlCharleston Paranormal Society2011-10-12T03:03:15ZToday I visited a favorite CPS spot; Magnolia Cemetery in downtown Charleston.  It was the perfect weather for a cemetery stroll, so I decided to pack up a digital camera and a digital recorder.  Once I arrived at the usually tranquil burial site, I noticed immediately the situation was not ideal.  There was a lot of plant removal and landscaping going on today.  Still, I was there, so I decided to do some EVP regardless.  Needless to say, there was so much machinery heard on the recording, that even with possible EVPs they would have to be dismissed due to contamination.  The site was still gorgeous, and I was able to get some amazing shots.  I will, most assuredly, be heading back soon on a quieter day.

Saying that, as much as we love to hear about your excitement to join CPS, we aren't currently looking to add any new members to avoid potentially corrupting evidence with over saturation. Dave Chellis has decided to persue other passions, and will no longer be a part of the CPS family.  We wish him the best of luck, and hope to possibly include him on future investigations when schedules permit.  That doesn't mean the CPS team is stopping, however. Jared, Barry, John, and I will still be answering your emails and helping you with all your paranormal needs. Thank you so much for being so supportive.
